Solution:
Videk cameras are installed on standard production systems to read code 2 of 5, code 39, code 128, UPC, EAN and POSTNET. The system reads, decodes and outputs the result of the code off of each document so that it can be used downstream by the production equipment control system. The results of the code reading can also be used entirely within the Videk vision system for matching against the results of other OCR, 1D code and 2D code readings from other cameras or against data from external sources that is input to the vision system.
