Videk's Print Verification Stand™ (PVS) is a verification system specifically designed to read critical areas on checks and statements. A total turnkey solution, the PVS includes up to 8 fully configured cameras and DocuVision software, a universal paper transport stand and Integra data collection software. Direct communication through printer interfaces complete the seamless integration.
With the PVS, variable data fields such as MICR numbers, check numbers, amounts and other 1 or 2-D barcode symbologies are read. If there is a problem with the number, such as a missing or poorly printed digit, the system can be immediately stopped or the bad document can be marked. The data is sent in real-time to the Integra system, Videk's data collection software, and optionally to any other computer for reconciliation.
