Videk Announces Mailpiece Verification System - (11/1/2006)

Videk recently announced its latest product, the Mailpiece Verification System (MVS). The MVS, a free-standing vacuum base with a fully integrated inspection system can be positioned in-line with your inserter or other mailing equipment to scan up to 25,000 mailpieces per hour.  The MVS was exhibited and demonstrated at this year's Graph Expo show in Chicago, IL.  The MVS reads text, data matrix, and virtually all common bardcodes.  It assesses print quality, verifies presence of postage and detects masking errors.  Sequence checking is also a capability of the MVS, which ensures mailing integrity by detecting missing, double-stuffed or out-of-sequence pieces.
