Solution:
A DocuVision system on the front end of the process, verifies that the correct paper stock is being used for the current job. The operator inputs the expected stock number into DocuVision; as the sheets travel in front of the camera an image is taken and analyzed for correctness. This can be done with a number, 1-D or 2-D code. DocuVision compares the information on every sheet that is fed into the printer and, in the case of mismatch, halts the printer for corrective action. DocuVision can eliminate the risks associated with job change-overs in high volume production environments.
