OCR:

Read and decode virtually any solid character or font. Videk systems read (and are not limited to) typical "machine readable" fonts such as MICR, OCR-A, OCR-B, & many others. Read an account number, check number, amount, name or other information already printed on a document.

DataMatrix:

Encode lots of data in this compact 2 Dimensional matrix symbology. Made up of a number of square modules arranged within a square region, the industry standard ECC200 DataMatrix encodes both Alpha and Numeric data in a very small space. For instance, a typical ¼ inch square symbol has the capacity to code up to 44 numeric characters, or 31 alphanumeric characters.

Xerox DataGlyph™:

An extremely unobtrusive code, this 2-Dimensional matrix symbology code is made up of forward and backward slashes at 45 degree angles. Alpha and numeric data are encoded within, and the DataGlyph's do not take away from the appearance of the document.

OMR Marks:

Support for this enduring code used primarily for machine control.
OMR marks are vertical lines that represent a binary character string which is ideally suited for controlling downstream print finishing and sorting operations.

PDF417:

A very high-density stacked symbology used in a wide variety of labeling applications, including logistics & transportation, retailing, healthcare, government, identification, and manufacturing. PDF, which stands for "Portable Data File", carries up to 1.1 kilobytes of machine-readable data in a space no larger than a standard bar code. Unlike traditional one-dimensional bar codes, which depend on real-time links to a larger database, PDF417 symbols are the database.

Postnet (US Postal Barcode):

Postnet is an abbreviation of POSTal Numeric Encoding Technique.
It was designed by the US Postal Service to provide a more reliable and efficient process for sorting mail pieces. The POSTNET barcode encodes ZIP codes that uniquely identify most addresses in the United States.

PlanetCode:

PlanetCode is a compliment to the Postnet code. It is usually used as a tracking code that is placed on mail that is sent out to customers and mail that the customers send back to you. This code provides valuable information about each mailpiece including when the mailpiece was initially processed and where it was processed.
